Rashid’s Journey

Rashid is a powerful example of what true development looks like when time, patience, and commitment come together.

He joined SP at just 10 years old, and step by step, day by day, he has grown within our academy through hard work, dedication, and the right guidance. Today, he stands out not only as a talented player, but as a reflection of what long-term development can achieve.

At SP, we are incredibly proud of his journey and his commitment to the game. From training fields to competition, his progress speaks for itself. A professional MLS club from our city has already shown strong interest in him, clear proof that the process works.

And now, Rashid has reached another incredible milestone: a call-up to represent the U.S. National Team.

This is why we believe in development. This is why we believe in patience. This is SP.

We joined Sporting Padula after years at a “big” club. From the first day, Gino and other coaches knew our player by name. Our son gets personalized feedback on his skill development, and he has shown serious growth in leadership and confidence.

The coaching at Sporting Padula is top tier. Gino obviously has professional experience, and he shares it with the kids and parents. However, SP is special in how much coaches and staff care about the players. Development plans are personalized and staff is accessible. I’ve talked more with SP coaches in one season than I talked with coaches the previous three years at another club.

Sporting Padula has a family feeling we didn’t experience at other clubs. Personal development seems as important as skill development. Players in the same age group get to practice and play with each other. Teams across ages interact. When our U13 team won a tournament, the U19 players cheered them on. These kids love playing for SP.

We love being part of SP! The sense of community is something special, it truly feels like a family that supports and encourages every player. The club does an amazing job balancing individual player development with strong team growth, helping each athlete reach their full potential while building something bigger together. And the coaches are outstanding- knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in every player’s success both on and off the field.

As a proud grandmother of O., an eight-year-old who plays for SP Soccer Club, I can’t express enough how transformative this experience has been for her. Before joining SP, O. faced challenges that deeply affected her love for the game. She struggled with low confidence, had over-trained, received minimal playing time during tournaments, and even cried on the way to practice. It broke my heart to see her passion dwindling.

That’s when I decided to seek a fresh start. After a break from soccer, she attended a summer camp at SP, and it was a game-changer. From the moment she stepped on the field, her joy returned. She thrived in an encouraging environment where she felt valued and supported. Her confidence soared almost overnight, and alongside it, her skills advanced remarkably.

O. has found her place at SP. She loves her teammates, respects her coach, and most importantly, she loves playing soccer again. If you want your child—like my granddaughter, to rediscover the joy of soccer, SP is the place to be. Gino, the club director, knows each player individually and recognizes their strengths and areas for growth. He consistently provides the encouragement every child deserves.

At SP, she is getting better every day, and I couldn’t be happier with her progress. Go SP!

SP is a great Soccer Academy. Where kids can grow as soccer players with soccer techniques and good values. Each of them is motivated by their coaches and pears. In this Academy does not exist the competition among groups. Each player has the chance to play at a higher level as long they work hard and they are respectful with their team and coaches. In SP Academy there are not individuals’ stars. They just have a good team. Teams that know how to work as a group. In SP Academy parents don’t have to pay for private coaches. Because the kids have a complete soccer program. I highly recommend SP Academy.

This is an amazing soccer academy. Gino and his team are really great. They are knowledgeable and the training they provide really helped my daughter and every time she goes it is a enjoyable experience and I am blown away at the skills she has achieved in such a short time. She is currently participating in their training program, but hopes to join the academy soon. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to see their child excel at soccer"

After playing at other clubs, I finally found at SP Soccer Academy the environment I needed to grow not only as an athlete, but also as a person.
