Pre-register for 2013-2014 Fall/Spring TRYOUTS, May 28 to June 8

Pre-registration for SP Soccer Academy Tryouts is now open. Boys and girls ages U8 to U18 of all skill levels and experience are welcome to attend. Go to our 2013-2014 Fall/Spring Tryouts page or click on the image above for information and to fill out our online pre-registration form.

SP Soccer Academy will be fielding teams in the Mid-Ohio Select Soccer League (MOSSL) and the Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League (BPYSL) in 2013-2014. SP Soccer Academy is also a member of US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer.

SP Soccer Academy offers a unique player-focused approach to soccer training. Our academy director, Gino Padula, brings 20 years of international professional playing experience from top leagues in Argentina, England, France, Spain, and 3 seasons with Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer to his coaching of youth players.

SP Soccer Academy has grown and thrived since being founded in 2011. This year, we announced a unique multi-year partnership with OhioHealth Sports Medicine to offer professional-quality health and fitness resources to our players and parents.

SP Soccer Academy has welcomed hundreds of players of all skill levels and experience levels to our outdoor and indoor training programs. We are very proud to have helped so many players enjoy soccer and improve their skills and knowledge. In addition, we have fielded several tournament champion teams and Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League champion teams. SP Soccer Academy has also welcomed a professional scout from a major English Premier League club and sent players to tryout for clubs in South America and Europe.

We are now excited to announce that we have expanded to two training ground locations in Columbus—Casto Park at 5550 Westerville Road in Westerville, and McCorkle Park at 200 McCutcheon Road in Gahanna. Tryouts will be held at both locations and training will take place at both grounds during fall 2013 and spring 2014.

Register Today for SP Soccer Academy 2013 Summer Camp & 2013 Summer Session

Registration is now open for our SP Soccer Academy 2013 Summer Camp and 2013 Summer Training Session. Our summer programs are great opportunities for players to enjoy a unique soccer experience under the direction of Gino Padula. Both programs take place this July at our new Casto Park training fields. Gino's goal is to offer fun, instructive, and affordable summer soccer training programs, and a special discounted price is available for players who register for both programs, together. 


If you know that you would like to register for both the SP Soccer Academy Summer Camp and the Summer Training Session, please click the button on the right to register for both programs at the discounted price. If you are only interested for one, please read the following descriptions of the programs and follow the instructions to register. Current SP Soccer Academy members and players intending on joining SP Soccer Academy for the 2013-2014 Fall/Spring seasons are encouraged to attend both programs. New members will have an opportunity to become familiar with Gino Padula's training philosophy and program, and get to know our players and coaches.

SUMMER CAMP 2013

The SP Soccer Academy 2013 Summer Camp will take place from Tuesday, July 23rd to Friday, July 26th at Casto Park in Westerville. The camp will be every day from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Boys and girls ages U7 to U18 are welcome to attend.

• The 4 day camp costs $89.00 to attend. Registration for the SP Soccer Academy 2013 Summer Camp is easy to do online by using our Korrio registration program. Click here to visit our registration page, then click the blue "Signup Now" button and follow the directions to register.

• During the 8 total hours of summer camp, all players will work with Gino Padula and our coaches on ball skills, footwork & agility drills, finishing, defending, and we will play fun matches during the camp as well.

• Players attending the Summer Camp should arrive by 5:45 pm each day. Players should bring soccer shoes, shinguards, a soccer ball, and water.

• A SP Soccer Academy training shirt is not necessary, but the new SP Soccer Academy training shirts will be available for purchase at our online store at www.spsocceracademy.com beginning June 1st. 

SUMMER TRAINING SESSION 2013

Registration is also now open for the SP Soccer Academy 2013 Summer Session taking place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from July 30th to August 8th at Casto Park in Westerville. The summer session will be every day from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Boys and girls ages U7 to U18 are welcome to attend.

• The summer session is a total of 6 days and costs $99.00. Registration for the SP Soccer Academy 2013 Summer Training Session is also available on our Korrio registration program. • The summer session is 9 hours over 6 days of training with Gino Padula and our coaches on ball skills, footwork and agility, finishing, defending, and playing matches.

• Players should arrive at training by 5:45 pm each day. Players should bring soccer shoes, shinguards, a soccer ball, and water.

• Again, a SP Soccer Academy training shirt is not necessary for our summer session, but new training shirts will be available in our online store beginning June 1st.

Also, our SP U12 Girls Yellow Team will be playing 2 Buckeye Premier League matches near Dayton on Saturday. The first match is at Ankeney Soccer Fields at 9:00 am on field #5. The second match is at 2:15 pm at Eakle Soccer Complex, field #4. Players should arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to game time, please.

And our SP U11 Boys Blue Team will be playing a Buckeye Premier League match at 2:15 pm at Spindler Park, field 6A in Hilliard. Please arrive no later than 1:45 pm, please.
