Columbus Soccer Families,

Welcome to Our Winter Season 2025-2026,

As you all know the winter season is just around the corner, it is a very good opportunity for all players SP members and members of other teams and clubs to continue to improve technically, physically, tactically, and psychologically every day.

Winter is too long to not continue playing this beautiful game called soccer.

In my opinion as a professional soccer player for over 15 years, players need to keep training at least one day per week so that they maintain skills they have improved over the Fall season, and not have their performance set back. Five months without touching a soccer ball is too long. When players return for the Spring soccer season, they often have to start over again. Most importantly, they need to re-learn the technique and aspects that improved in the Fall season.

Do not miss the opportunity to train with our SP Soccer Academy coaches and me this Winter season. The training will be based on my unique approach to teaching technique, finishing, physical and tactical awareness, and player confidence. We practice with and without the ball in 1V1, 2V2, 3v3 and team scenarios.

We must remember that all young players must train and play without pressure, without fear of making a mistake.

REMEMBER Members and non-members are welcome in this new futsal- Indoor winter season 2025-2026.

WESTERVILLE SCHEDULE

TERM 1 (6 Weeks) -  November 8 through December 20  .
TERM 2 (6 Weeks) - January 10 through February 14.

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT until October 1, 2025

TERM 1               NOVEMBER  8  -  DECEMBER  20 .



 

TERM 2               JANUARY  10  -  FEBRUARY  14.





 Field # & Group will be assigned at the first practice.
Session schedules subject to change.

We strive to keep our sessions to a set number of participants to ensure a quality session for all players. 

We cannot accommodate make-up sessions. Please attend only the sessions assigned by the SP Staff.  
"Drop-in" make-up sessions are not permitted.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Once a program has started there is no refund or credit.  If cancelled before the start of TERM 1, there is a 25% cancellation fee for the total amount.

 

       

 

WILLIS ATHLETIC COMPLEX SCHEDULE

Term 1 (6 Weeks) - November 3 through December 17.
Term 2 (6 Weeks) - January 5  through February 11.

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT until October 1, 2025.

NOTE: Willis  location training is every  week. Choose once or twice per week.


TERM 1                      NOVEMBER 3 - DECEMBER 17.      




TERM 2                       JANUARY 5 - FEBRUARY 11.

WESTERVILLE Registration

2025/26 SP Winter Program - WESTERVILLE Location

The program is structured into small groups, facilitating individualized attention. This arrangement ensures that each player receives specific feedback and can focus on areas requiring improvement. Such a methodology is also employed by professional clubs, including Major League Soccer (MLS), where small group training sessions are implemented to uphold the team's technical and tactical standards.
Please note that this program is offered for U7–U15 Boys and Girls Only
🔹 Technical and Tactical Development
Training in reduced spaces enhances individual technique and game understanding. Players learn to make quick decisions and adapt to changing situations, which are essential skills for modern soccer.
🔹 Improved Physical Fitness
Indoor soccer is high-intensity, promoting cardiovascular endurance, agility, reaction time, and body coordination. These skills are crucial for on-field performance and help prevent injuries.
🔹 Preparation for the Upcoming Season
By maintaining game rhythm, players will be better prepared to rejoin the team next season with increased confidence and enhanced skills.

TERM 1

Duration: 6 weeks
Dates: November 8 – December 20
Schedule: 1-hour training session every Saturday

TERM 2

Duration: 6 weeks
Dates: January 10 – February 14
Schedule: 1-hour training session every Saturday
